When you have to build something that you’ve never seen before the journey to completion can be filled with new challenges. For example, separating yourself from certain family and friends, building with very little support, challenging yourself in new areas.
If you have read my previous blogs you know that I was someone who has second guessed everything. However, when the Father invites you to take a journey with only his voice, he creates space so that you can build confidence in your spiritual ear that no matter what is said around you, you hang onto his word, his direction, his voice. That’s what he is doing with me. I’m currently in a space where I have to be obedient even when it doesn’t make sense to anyone else. No outside voices, no codependency, no premature announcements. Just building!
The easy thing would be to run back to a familiar space but the wise thing to do is to keep moving forward to see what’s on the other side. Another thing that I’ve learned is that I can no longer invest my time into making people understand me or the vision within me. I’m finally ok with just walking with the Father. I have nothing to prove because I’ve already been approved by the audience of one. El Roi!
Again, if you’ve been reading the blogs you know that Nehemiah is my biblical mentor right now. He had everything come against him to try and stop what The Father laid on his heart. Nevertheless, he discovered a strategy and kept building. He did not come off the wall. That’s how we have to be! We have to press forward even when all odds are against us. No stopping, no second guessing, no excuses, but execution!
Many times we are called to build something bigger than us. We are chosen for kingdom influence. If you feel called to build it’s because The Father can trust you. This is amazing to me. The God of all creation put his trust in me to build for His kingdom. The last thing I need to do is get distracted because I’m on an assignment.
My prayer is that we discern destiny helpers from the destiny killers. People will attempt to help but have hidden agendas or say something to throw you off course. The only way we can do that is by staying connecting to The Source of life and that is Jesus Christ.
I can’t wait to see what God does after we choose to be obedient to him.
Keep building!
Journey in Grace,
Shantell 🌹
